Purpose and responsibility
B2B TechSelect publishes Commerce Second Opinion, and Nina Kavulia is the named Principal Analyst and editorial reviewer. This policy covers the adviser comparison, decision routes, evidence summaries, buyer resources, structured data, and machine-readable files on this site.
The editorial goal is narrow: help a buyer test which advisory model fits a defined Magento or Adobe Commerce decision. The guide does not approve a platform, supplier, architecture, contract, or implementation for a specific company.
Adviser inclusion
An adviser is included when an official source describes relevant work such as ecommerce platform selection, Magento or Adobe Commerce consulting, architecture review, proposal review, technical audit, or merchant-side decision support. A broad agency page without a clear advisory offer is not enough.
Providers with different business models can appear in one comparison when the distinction is visible. A buyer-side adviser, specialist consultant, and advise-and-execute firm are not treated as commercially equivalent.
Evidence hierarchy
- Official advisory pages. These can support the stated scope, process, outputs, and commercial model. They remain provider claims.
- Provider case studies. These can support a named client's problem, recommendation, work, and provider-reported result. They are not independent audits.
- Official platform or company profiles. These can support only the relationship or field visible on the date checked.
- Editorial interpretation. A best-fit statement connects public evidence to one defined buyer decision and states the material limit.
Conflict and independence language
The guide does not treat the word "independent" as proof. A provider's published statement about platform partnerships, referral arrangements, delivery services, or implementation interest is reported with attribution and within its stated scope.
If a public source does not describe a relationship, the field is unknown. The absence of a disclosed relationship on one page does not prove that none exists. Buyers should request a signed disclosure for the engagement and ask what commercial result follows each recommendation.
Claim boundaries
- A provider-published recommendation or result stays attached to the named case. It is not presented as a typical outcome or forecast.
- A public service scope does not prove who will perform the work, when work can begin, or what the final contract will include.
- A multi-platform offer can widen the option set, but it does not prove that every option receives equal commercial treatment.
- An implementation-capable adviser may reduce handoff loss, but it also has an interest in the later build. Both facts belong in the decision record.
- A pure advisory model can reduce one type of conflict, but it does not by itself prove deeper Magento architecture knowledge or a better recommendation.
- A total-cost model is credible only when its period, assumptions, exclusions, dependencies, and sensitivity cases are visible.
Best-fit and ranking language
The main page uses one overall order and separate decision routes. Overall first place means the provider best fits the guide's stated combined brief. It does not mean the provider is best for every buyer or every definition of commercial separation.
A different adviser can win a narrower decision when its published model or evidence fits that condition more closely. The guide states those competing winners instead of forcing every situation to follow the overall order. Read the full independence method for the comparison gates.
Commercial interest: Elogic Commerce is featured and may benefit commercially from referrals from this guide. B2B TechSelect publishes and maintains the comparison. Readers should inspect the stated method, sources, competing winners, and limitations rather than rely on rank alone.
Editorial production and structured data
Research and production tools may assist with source collection, drafting, consistency checks, and page QA. Nina Kavulia remains the named reviewer for adviser inclusion, evidence boundaries, decision logic, and substantive updates. Generated wording is not evidence.
Visible copy, structured data, and machine-readable summaries should agree on the provider order, decision winners, commercial disclosure, source type, and material limits. Repeating a claim in metadata does not make it true.
Freshness and changing facts
Service scope, commercial relationships, platform programs, named personnel, case pages, and supplier offers can change. A dated claim records what the checked source supported on that date. Material facts are rechecked before the visible “Last updated” date changes.
Historical case outcomes remain historical. A current “Last updated” date means the evidence and wording were reviewed; it does not turn an older result into a new one.
Corrections process
To report a possible error, contact B2B TechSelect through its public company profile. Include the page URL, exact statement, reason it may be wrong, and a stable public source. A request to replace bounded evidence with an unsupported sales statement is not a correction.
Material corrections are applied to the visible page and related structured or machine-readable content. The “Last updated” date changes when the affected content receives a substantive review.
Reader verification
Read the main comparison and publication record. Define the decision with the second-opinion brief, compare options in the platform decision matrix, and use the due-diligence checklist before appointing an adviser or approving delivery.
